Summary of Service  1830: Writer. 1834: Assistaut to Principal Collector and Magistrate, South Arcot. 1836: Acting Register to the Zillah Court of Combaconum; Acting Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, South Arcot; Officiating Joint Criminal Judge, Chingleput. 1837; Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, South Arcot; Officiating Junior Deputy Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1838; Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, South Arcot. 1839: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, South Arcot. 1840: Acting Head Assistant to the Accountant-General; Commissioner for Government Lotteries. 1841: Acting, afterwards Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1845 : Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1848: Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1849 : Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1854: Collector and Magistrate, North Arcot. 1859: On medical certificate to England for 30 months. 1861 : Resigned the service,18th December, in England. (Annuitant.) Died, 10th November 1879, in London.
