	Summary of Service	1807 : Writer. 1809 : Assistant to the Chief Secretary in the General, Commercial, and Law Department. 1810 : Assistant to the Superintendent of Stamps. 1811 : Fixed Examiner in the Office of Sub-Secretary in the Commercial and Law Department. 1812 : Head Assistant to the Collector of Coimbatore. 1816 : Assistant Magistrate of Coimbatore. 1821 : Sub-Collector and Assistant Magistrate of Coimbatore ; Collector and Magistrate of Guntoor. 1831 : Principal Collector and Magistrate of Nellore. 1835 : At home on absentee allowance. (Annuitant on the Fund, from 1st July 1837.) Died, 22nd November 1837, at Mortimer House, near Reading.
