	Summary of Service	1807: Writer. 1809 Assistant to the Register of the Sudder and Foujdarry Adawlut. !811: Assistant to the Collector of Trichinopoly. 1812: Fixed Examiner to the Secretary to the Board of Revenue, and Assistant to the Superintendent of Stamps; Assistant to the Secretary in the Military and Political Department. 1813 French Translator to Government. 1815: Deputy Collector of Sea Customs in Malabar and Canara. 1823: Sub-Collector of Canara. 1824: Secretary in the Revenue and Judicial Department. 1827: Third Member of the Board of Revenue. 1832: Employed as Commissioner in Canara. 1833: At home on absentee allowance. (Annuitant on the Fund from 1st May 1835.) Died 17th June 1876, in England.
