Summary of Service  1832 : Writer. 1834 : Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Madura. 1836 : Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1838 : Officiating Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Madura; Acting Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Malabar. 1839 : Head Assistant to Principal Collector and Magistrate, Malabar; Acting Assistant Judge and Joint Criminal Judge, Cochin. 1843 :Special Assistant to Collector, Tinnevelly. 1844 : Proceeded to Europe on furlough. 1848 : Without employ for 10 months, after which Additional Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Canara. 1849 : Acting Sub-Col­lector and Joint Magistrate, Canara. 1851 : Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Honore. 1854 : At first Sub-Judge, then Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Combaconum. 1855 : Acting Collector and Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1856 : Collector and Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1858 : On medical certificate to Europe for 21 months. 1859 : Resumed Charge of the Collectorate of Tinnevelly. 1865 : Permitted to retire from the service, 31st January. (Annuitant.) Died, 8th July 1870, in England
