> Royal Artillery in India
Between about 1860 amd 1890, the Royal Artillery kept Records of the Marriages of their NCOs and Men, plus Baptismal Records of any children they produced. These records are all-inclusive, that meant that they were returned to England from wherever in the world that these events ocurred. Naturally, very many were returned from India.
These records can be seen at The National Archives, ref. WO69 and are also available on-line. Thus, only examples are given here.
