1st Bn. 43rd Oxfordshire
and
Buckinghamshire Light Infantry
Died at Ootacamund
19th June 1933
Aged 46
WIth Christ which is far better

Fight the good fight with all thy might
Christ is thy strength, and Christ thy right.
Lay hold on life, and it shall be,
Thy joy and crown eternally.
