Who after a career of upwards of 30 years in the Civil Service of India , during which he held the high positions of Financial Commissioner of the Punjab, Judge of the Chief Court of Lahore, Member of the Legislative Council of India, Resident at the Court of the Nizam, who died at Hyderabad on the 10th of May 1868, aged 48.
This tablet is erected by friends who worked with him , and lovingly remember his wisdom, generosity and Justice.
