Comment

In Q4 1850 Catherine Rowe married Owen Rice Ryall at St Pancras, London. In 1851 Ryall, then 19, was working as a crono lithographer and the pair lived at 24 Charrington Street, St Pancras.

He must have abandoned civilian life soon afterwards, for in 1861 he was an infantry sergeant, living with his wife and three children at Great Warley in Essex.
