Monumental Inscription in Gloucester Cathedral

Comment

To the beloved memory of the Rev. Thomas Parker, A.M., Rector of Saintsbury and Vicar of Churcham in this county, late Precentor of this Cathedral Church and Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford, who died on the 22nd December, 1800, aged 47 years. This monument is erected as a testimony of sincere affection by his widow. It is inscribed likewise to the memory of Henry, his second son who died at Calcutta, Oct. 7th 1803, aged 18 years. Also Susanna Frances, widow of the above named Thomas Parker, who died Feb. 2nd 1831, aged 88 years.
