Michael Francis Gordon Esqr.
of Abergeldie, County of Aberdeen.
Captain, 10th Regmt. Madras Native Infantry
Deputy Commissioner of the Jhansi District
who was shot while gallantly resisting the
attack of the mutineers upon the fort in which
the European residents of this city had taken refuge
8th June 1857, aged 35
