PHILIP HAYES JACKSON
Lieut. Late 67th N.I.
who with JANE AMELIA his wife
and her brother
Mr RALPH BLYTHE COOKE
were massacred by the rebels
at Cawnpore
on the 27th June 1857

This tablet has been erected
as a tribute of
affection to them
by their sorrowing relatives

Vengeance is mine I will repay
