Two upper parts of a stepped pedestal (once with a cross) lying scattered on the ground:

Third son of
Capt. William Rolland Royal Artillery
Died 21st January 1911
aged 68 years

Sleep thy last sleep
free fron care and sorrow.
Rest where none weep
till the eternal morrow.

Also in Memory of his Wife
Ellen Rolland
Died 8th June 1939 Aged 83 years
