Comment

To a most Devoted and Beloved Mother, Frances Gordon, daughter of Thos. & Rebecca Elrington, and widow of Capt. Wm. Gordon, Rl. Engineers, born at Low Hill, 8th Oct 1773. Fell asleep 17th April 1850. Also her son, Thos. Rowley Gordon, Captain Bombay N.I. Born 11th April 1798. Departed 11th Sept. 1836. Also, her eldest son Adam Durnford Gordon, born 22nd Aug. 1796 Departed 17th Jube 1857. Buried in the Trinity churchyard, Cheltenham. Also, Robert Adam Gordon M.A., son of T.R. Gordon, born 6th March 1832. Departed 9th Decr. 1862. Buried in Ventnor, Isle of Wight.
